Résumé

This study investigates the phenomenon of visiting shrines and believing in their supernatural powers deeply-rooted in the Algerian society. We shall focus on its roots, rituals, and effects on the formal and popular thought in the Ottoman Algeria. Besides, we shall provide a conceptual and historical background, introduce its types, and account for its spread, position, and sanctification in the Algerian popular and formal thought, showing the effect on the Algerian daily routines and account for the conditions that paved the way for myths and legends’ domination of the then society. In so doing, our questions are: How can we explain the attachment of the Algerian society and thought to myths? Why do not Algerians believe in science and God? What effect has this phenomenon on the Algerian collective thought? زيارة الأضرحة والاعتقاد بها وبالكرامات والخوارق ظاهرة متجذّرة في المجتمع الجزائري، وهذا ما حفّزني على دراستها ومعرفة خباياها، وقد تناولت في هذه الورقة العلمية ظاهرة الأضرحة جذورها وطقوسها وأثرها في المخيال الرسمي والشعبي في الجزائر العثمانية، وحرصت في معالجة هذه الإشكالية على تناول التأصيل المفاهيمي والتاريخي لظاهرة الأضرحة وعوامل انتشارها وأنواعها ومراسيمها ومكانتها وأسباب تقديسها في المخيال المجتمعي الجزائري"الرسمي والشعبي"، في حين أنّ الهدف من هذه الورقة البحثية هو تبيان أثر زيارة الأضرحة والأولياء في يوميات المجتمع الجزائري، والظروف التي أدت إلى سيطرت الفكر الخرافي والأسطوري على المجتمع آنذاك. ولشرح ما تقدم طرحت التساؤلات التالية: بم نفسر تمسك المجتمع الجزائري والمخيال الجمعي بالفكر الخرافي لمعايشة الواقع؟، ولم الابتعاد عن الإيمان بالله والفكر العلمي ؟. وما تأثير زيارة الأضرحة على المخيال الجمعي الجزائري؟
