Résumé

ABSTRACT: The current research aims are to reveal the viewpoints of the lecturers and students on team teaching strategies in the faculty of education at the University of Soran, Kurdistan Region, Iraq. The targeted population of this study includes all lecturers of the faculty of education, and the samples were chosen purposely. The number of lecturers was (29), and the number of students was (315). In order to obtain the research objectives, two Likert-scale questionnaire survey designs were used as research tools for data collection, each of them consisting of (30) items. Furthermore, face validity and test-retest reliability were conducted for the research tools. After obtaining data from the questionnaires, a descriptive and inferential statistical analysis, such as a two-sample t-test, was used. The consequences of the research have shown that there is no difference between humanitarian and scientific lecturers' viewpoints about team-teaching strategies. Besides, there is no difference between lecturers' points of view about the effects of team teaching methods based on their gender. However, there are several differences in the viewpoints of male and female students about team teaching, and male students tend to be more fascinated by team teaching than female students. Based on the results, the researchers have several recommendations for lecturers and the faculty of education. In conclusion, several further studies have been suggested in the same field.
