Résumé

Our research dealt with the role of Arab women in building the literary edifice since the pre-Islamic era, and we tried to prove that they were more lucky than their counterparts in other societies, in which their contempt for women reached the point where a great philosopher like Plato thanked the gods for creating him as a man, not a woman!! Because the Islamic Maghreb region (the Maghreb - Andalusia) forms part of the Arab world, we have shed light on the most important feminist names who contributed to various sciences, focusing the conversation on the female poets who left us a great poetic legacy, and this was during the golden era of time, that is, from the Umayyad era to the end of the Almohads. Perhaps the large number of female poets mentioned in the research along with their literary material is evidence that Arab women in general and women in Islamic Morocco in particular were an essential factor in the renaissance of thought and creativity.
