Résumé

ملخص تهدف إلى التعرف على واقع اتخاذ القرار بمكتبات الجامعات الخاصة في ولاية الخرطوم، ولتحقيق هذا الهدف أستخدم الباحث المنهج الوثائقي (التاريخي) والمنهج المسحي ومنهج دراسة الحالة، ووظف الاستبانة كأداة لجمع البيانات. توصلت الدراسة إلى العديد من النتائج أهمها: أن 87.5% من عينة الدراسة لم تتلقَ دورات تدريبية في مجال اتخاذ القرار، كما أن عدم وجود وصف وظيفي للعاملين بالمكتبات يؤثر على اتخاذ القرار بمكتبات الجامعات الخاصة في ولاية الخرطوم، بالإضافة إلى أن 56.25% من عينة الدراسة يرون أن اتخاذ القرار يتركز في يد الإدارة العليا دون إشراك المكتبيين في ذلك. كما توصلت الدراسة إلى العديد من التوصيات أبرزها: أن هنالك حاجه لتدريب رؤساء الأقسام بمكتبات الجامعات الخاصة في ولاية الخرطوم في مجال اتخاذ القرار، كما على مكتبات الجامعات الخاصة في ولاية الخرطوم السعي لإيجاد وصف وظيفي للعاملين بها، وأخيراً يوصي الباحث الجامعات الخاصة في ولاية الخرطوم بعدم تركيز القرارات بيد الإدارة العليا وتفويض السلطات لذوي الاختصاص. كلمات مفتاحية: اتخاذ القرار، المكتبات الجامعية، الجامعات الخاصة. Abstract The study aims to explore decision-making in private university libraries in Khartoum. To achieve this goal, the researcher employed the documentary (historical) methodology, survey methodology, and case study methodology, utilizing a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The study revealed several key findings, including that 87.5% of the study sample did not receive training courses in the field of decision-making. Also, the absence of job descriptions for library staff affects decision-making in private university libraries in Khartoum. Furthermore, 56.25% of the study sample believes that decision-making is concentrated in the hands of top management without involving librarians. The study also provided various recommendations, emphasizing the need for training department heads in private university libraries in Khartoum in decision-making. It suggests that these libraries should work towards establishing job descriptions for their staff. Finally, the researcher recommends that private universities in Khartoum avoid concentrating decision-making solely in the hands of top management and delegate authorities to those with expertise in libraries.
