Authors : Mallem Samira . Chenna Zakia .

Abstract

Abstract: The research investigates the effectiveness of an electronic course in enhancing cognitive and performance aspects in informatics. The study sample included (60) first-year master's students in guidance and counseling. An experimental method was employed to implement the proposed design and assess its impact. The sample was divided into two groups: (30) students in the control group, who followed the traditional teaching method, and (30) students in the experimental group, who utilized the proposed electronic course. The researchers employed several tools, including a skills assessment list for the electronic course, a designed electronic course in informatics, an achievement test for cognitive aspects, and a performance test for practical skills. The findings revealed statistically significant differences in the post-measurement between the control and experimental groups in cognitive aspects, favoring the experimental group. Additionally, significant differences were noted in the post-measurement results, largely attributed to the electronic course used.
