Translation And Civilizational Communication: The Limits Of Being And The Horizons Of The Possible (the Pragmatic Linguistic Term As An Example)

Abstract
Translation has long been a communicative and civilizational act aimed at achieving communication among human beings. It is, in its essence, a feature that is almost indispensable in any human civilization, due to the benefits it encompasses that can only be realized through it. Furthermore, in its specific knowledge and its connection to it, becomes more deeply rooted and necessary. Scientific translation, which focuses on the outputs of civilizations, has become an urgent necessity demanded by the comprehensive nature of knowledge on one hand, and the universality of human thought on the other. This is what this article attempts to address by exploring the limits of the possible and the impossible in the Arabic translational act of the pragmatic linguistic term, considering the specific context of the source language and the target language.
